Jelly Mind Entry: The Hard Truth (and we don’t want to hear it)

Just do it! Why aren’t you just doing it? It’s not that hard. It’s easy, so easy. So, why aren’t you doing it. Why is it so hard for you? Are you lazy? Do you even care? I’m sure we have all heard it before… people that have never dealt with it, just doesn’t understand.

But, the hard truth is, it’s not that easy when you are so depressed. It’s even harder if you lack the motivation to even get out of bed. You just don’t care. Even, when you really want too!

Depression is so draining. It kills your good vibes, your lust and love for almost all things, including yourself. Sad but true.

So, how do you get out of the hard place, the stuck place, the bad place???

The hard truth – you have to force yourself – to exercise, to eat better, to go to therapy, maybe even take medication, to break through to yourself. Too break the depression.

There really isn’t some magical hack or thing…it’s you… you are the key to kick the depression… it’s hard, it’s so damn hard. But, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Even if, it’s just a small step forward.

You are not alone in this journey but you are the key to your success.

Start small:

Drink more water (yes we have heard it so many times, drink water blah, blah, blah) but drinking water and staying hydrated keeps your brain lobed up and working, and a fresh hydrated mind thinks of more then being dry and depressed.

Walk or move everyday, get your body moving. You don’t have to go to the gym or dress up and go someplace… get up and walk around your house, in circles, down the hall and back, or on your road or driveway, do that for 30 mins and get your body moving.

Be positive for the small, sweet and loving things you have in your life. Find something that is simple and small and appreciate the hell out of it!!! Put your energy into it and make it the best you can… having something that we love and appreciate gives us purpose and purpose gives us the drive to move forward.

Just be mindful of what you have in your life. Not, what you don’t have.

You are worth the hard work!!!
